Johnson Panettiere’s final photo of himself before his unexpected passing showed him beaming in the woods with a friend.
The “Ice Age: The Meltdown” voice actor took a moment to spray paint a stone facade in New York’s Nyack Forest when he snapped a selfie with his friend.

A source close to the Panettiere family told TMZ that Johnson died over the weekend in New York. He is 28 years old.
No cause of death has been released, and the “Nashville” alum has yet to release a statement about the sad news.
The two appear to be close siblings, as Johnson shared a photo last month of Hayden trying to chop off her locks.
“Not the first haircut she tried to give me,” he captioned the sweet snap.
Johnson initially followed in her older sister’s footsteps and entered Hollywood before turning to art full-time. He had roles in “Even Stevens,” “Blue’s Clues,” “Robots” and “The Last Day of Summer.”
Hayden, 33, and Johnson appeared together in three films: 2004’s “Tiger Cruise,” 2005’s “Racing Stripes” and 2011’s “The Forger.”
