Load a template Any template can be loaded as a strategy of the current stock, for a fast start to strategy optimization.
Date range specification The data used in the calculation is specified by a start date and a stop date.  This allows a strategy to be developed for a prior period then 'forward tested' by changing the stop date to the current date and determining the success of the strategy for the period between the original stop date and the current stop date.
Multiple result views Calculation results are displayed in a financial summary, a table showing each trade and a choice of four charts.  Trade points can also be displayed on the Price chart, optionally with the trade price shown.
First trade option Ordinarily the first strategy trade is a purchase.  If the stock is considered to be held at the beginning of the calculation period, the first trade can be designated to be a sale.
