Benefit |
|
Proven technical indicators |
Technical indicators have been restricted to time tested and respected
indicators which each provide a distinct view of the data. |
|
Named indicator values |
Specify indicator values in named fields. No complicated notations
or mathematical formulas are required. Just enter your values and
click 'Calculate'. |
|
Purchase and sale strategies |
Separate purchase and sale strategies are entered. Completely
different indicators and values can be used to trigger buy or sell
signals. This allows stock strategies to include both the best
purchase strategy and the best sale strategy. |
|
Multiple stop options |
Choose any or all of five stop options to include with your sale strategy. |

|
Multiple indicator strategies |
Indicators within a purchase or sale strategy can be combined by checking
the 'OR' operator to specify that a signal from any active indicator
can generate a trade signal. If the 'AND' operator is checked then
all active indicators must signal a trade to generated a trade signal for
the strategy. |

of stock or all stocks when monitoring. |
Load a template |
Any template can be loaded as a strategy of the current stock, for a fast start to strategy optimization. |
|
Date range specification |
The data used in the calculation is specified by a start date and a stop
date. This allows a strategy to be developed for a prior period then
'forward tested' by changing the stop date to the current date and
determining the success of the strategy for the period between the
original stop date and the current stop date. |
|
Multiple result views |
Calculation results are displayed in a financial summary, a table showing
each trade and a choice of four charts. Trade points can also be
displayed on the Price chart, optionally with the trade price shown. |
|
First trade option |
Ordinarily the first strategy trade is a purchase. If the stock is
considered to be held at the beginning of the calculation period, the
first trade can be designated to be a sale. |
|
Chart data transfer |
