Analysis Capabilities

Once a stock has been selected from the stocks ranked by profitability, the indicator values can be adjusted to yield the maximum profit for that stock.  This strategy will then provide future buy and sell signals.

The term ‘stock’ in addition to publicly traded shares could refer to mutual funds, futures, options, or currencies which you may wish to research.

BACKTESTING

Analysis results are derived by backtesting a strategy using varying indicator values or criteria.  The  date range, duration and period can also be specified.  Buy and sell indicator values can be set independently.  Indicators can also be combined using AND or OR operators.  As well, several stop loss criteria are available for analysis and for calculating stop prices for the next trading day.

Individual buy and sell transactions, a financial summary and supporting charts are displayed on the analysis page.  Transactions can also be displayed on the price chart, optionally with trade prices.

Multiple strategies can be named and saved for each stock.
